[Glass] How to upgrade from GemStone/S 64 Bit 3.1.0.1 to 3.1.0.4

As you note, the 3.1.0.4 release notes refer to the 3.1 install guide. Obviously, when the 3.1 Installation Guide was written, version 3.1 was the target, not the source for the upgrade. The release notes might have been more complete if it said the following:

No separate Installation Guide is provided with this release. For installation instructions, use the Installation Guide for version 3. As you do so, substitute '3.1.0.4' for '3.1' as the target version and add '3.1, 3.1.0.1, 3.1.0.2, and 3.1.0.3' as supported source versions. Where the instructions refer to '3.0.1' as the source, replace it with your actual source version (any 3.x version that precedes this release).

So, yes, you should follow the 3.0 to 3.1 instructions and there are no other guides available. Does that make sense?
