HTTPS through proxy

Hi!

Is this part of code already available for GemStone (3.4.x).

I think the latest commit at GsDev/Kit / Zinc doesn't include these changes.

It looks like the latest version of Zinc ported to GemStone is 2.4.3[1], so the https proxying wouldn't be ported yet ...

I am still hammered with Rowan work and don't have any time to do much else ... If someone else is willing to take on the work, I can give advice and merge a pull request when it becomes available ...

What are you trying to accomplish?


Do you have nginx or apache in front of your gemstone gems?
If so you could let them manage the https connection e.g.
https://www.monkeysnatchbanana.com/2010/06/22/faking-a-https-client-for-glass/
