Haven't been around a while ... D6??

Ron Jeffries
I don't have Smalltalk on my tablet, so thought I'd look to see if D6
was out yet. The o-a site hasn't been updated for even longer than
mine.

What's up with o-a and D6?

Thanks,

Andy made a post about 8? weeks ago mentioning the  position Object Arts
were in.

Basically said they were doing some consulting work (My words, not his), to
ensure the financial stability and long term goals of Object Arts. The
negative that the work caused was that it has delayed the release of D6 by
many months. He said that it should be ready by the end of the year.

Heres the original thread:

Andy also said it will include a full documentation update (yay) and updates
to the website/help section too.

The work mentioned in that thread (which I don't think can really be
classed as consultancy since no one has yet paid us a bean for it) has
now been completed and we are now back working towards Dolphin6. To
that end we have started work on the new website (which will be Swazoo
powered) and I'd like to solicit some help from the community here.
Please see the new thread entitled "Help please".

So is the end of year release date still the target, or can we expect it
sooner?! (Once again I iterate, I am completely happy with D5 (buy it now),
I'm just excited about some of the features coming in 6)

I hope you guys get paid for that work you did. I mean, that was the
intention right. If not, can you share with us how you strengthen a
companies financial position by working for free? ;)
