Heads up: a small cluster of upgrade issues have just popped up

GLASS mailing list
With 3.3.0 recently made available, several upgrade issues have popped up:

   - Issue #67[1] upgradeStone gives a aGsMethodDictionary in
objectSecurityPolicyId 1 with insufficient authorization
   - Issue #71[2] Recently added class
GsFailedMethodCompilationDuringCopyMethodToNewClass causes
upgradeSeasideImage to fail
   - Issue #72[3] GsUpgrader class>>upgradeGLASSForGsDevKit_home may
cause issues when upgrading

Internally we are also attempting to characterize a bug or two as well
... all of these bugs are related to running upgrades and aren't
necessarily related to each other, but if you were planning on having a
quiet weekend of upgrading your system to 3.3.0, you may want to wait a
bit:)

I have proposed fixes pending for #71 and #72 (GsDevKit_home), but I
want to understand #67 better and of course we need to understand the
internal issues as well ...

GLASS mailing list
The recently announced release for GsDevKit_home: "Bugfixes for 3.3.x
upgrades and smalltalkCI support[4]' has bugfixes for Issues #71[2] and
#72[3] (Issue #67 is a superset of Issue #71), so upgrades to 3.3 should
be error free, now.

We've characterized the internal issues and you should look at the Bug
Note for Bug 46056[5], if you are planning on upgrading a system that
uses Unicode indexes to 3.3.0.
