Folks,
We realize that the OA website has been looking a little "tired" of
late, so we've started work on a complete site overhaul and at this
point we'd like to solicit some help from you, the Dolphin community.
One of the things we're working towards is a small selection of user
comments about Dolphin that pop up on various pages in a random
fashion. We've been trawling through the newsgroup and e-mail to dig
out some of the nicer comments that people have made so that we can ask
the various authors for their permission to publish them on the site.
However, if you know of anything suitable that you may have written, or
if you'd like to make a short comment now for publication then please
e-mail us ASAP.
We'd append any quotes we use with the appropriate dates and with or
without your name as you see fit (and we wouldn't publish e-mail
addresses of course). Hopefully we'll have enough responses to choose
from that we'll only need to publish the nice ones :-)
The second things is we'd like to be able to give some examples as to
how you are using Dolphin. If you have a product, preferably but not
necessarily commercial, built using Dolphin then please let us know. A
web address or screenshot/short description would be ideal.
The first version of the site will be running under Swazoo and will be
for D5 but will grow into the base for D6 in the not too distant future.
