Dear David and Stephane,
FWIW, the 7.10.1 version of RBSUnitShowResult (available from the
Cincom OR - or the 7.10.1 parcels) works as far back as 7.8 AFAIK -
_provided_ you load compatible versions of its prereqs from the OR and
avoid getting any of the older parcels loaded as prereqs.
My brief experiments suggested that loading latest (in OR) of
SUnitPreload
SUnit (package, not bundle)
SUnitResourcePatterns
and the 7.10.1 version (only - no later; I've not tried earlier) of
RBSUnitExtensions
SUnitToolsIcons
RBSUnitShowResult
works OK in VW 7.8.
Of course, just loading the parcel RBSUnitExtensions parcel in VW7.8 is
fine for running tests. You would only load the later versions if you
wanted the SUnitToo-like UI (showing last result of each test against
that test in the RB) but did not want SUnitToo's enforced (uncaptured,
AFAICS) randomisation of run order. (These latest+7.10.1 versions have
captured-randomisation as an option - see RandomSuite - and some other
options, e.g. skipping tests, trading speed against resource-clash
avoidance, etc.)
