How do I get the root component?

Brian Brown-2
I looked in the FAQ, and maybe this should go in it...

I have a WAComponent subclass and it does the main layout of my app,
and I would like to get access to it without having to explicitly
pass it into any children.

Is this a current feature of Seaside 2.8?

- Brian

This answers the class of the root component. I assume you want the
instance of the root component, right?

In that case the answer is no. The session doesn't know the actual
instance of the root component. There might be multiple render loops
going on with different root components.

Ah, yes, indeed. I use that in few places to refer to some settings on
the root class, but never the instance itself, bad suggestion on my
part.

Cheers!
