Hi,
What's the plan for IPv6 in VW? Presumably there is currently no
support: I can't seem to find any mention in the image, or even the VM
sources.
>From a non-expert point of view: Windows 7 seems pretty keen on IPv6,
and it's been supported on VW's major platforms since 2003 (XP SP1, Mac
OS X Panther, Linux kernel 2.1.8). Already over 90% of IPv4 addresses
are allocated, and latest estimates are that we'll run out in 2012.
If that's what I see as a non-expert, I imagine corporations are going
to start having an "IPv6" checkbox on their lists pretty soon,
regardless of actual need.
