IdeaSpace thoughts

Steve Alan Waring
Hi Andy and Blair,

I am a bit late to the party but... congratulations on the IdeaSpace! It
works for me ... D6 feels less cluttered than D5.

A couple of thoughts (apologies if this has been discussed before):

 - I would find a HistoryList with back/forward buttons handy. For example:
I can see myself using the back button after opening a new card, and wanting
to return to the original card. A back button would save me needing to think
about which card it was that I was working in.

A history list could also be used when closing a card ... instead of
selecting the card before it in the z order, select the card one back in the
history list.

- IMO the tab text labels are too long. I find that once I have 4 or more
cards open, the tabs start switching between 1 and 2 rows depending on the
length of method names selected in browsers. For the browser cards, I would
prefer to have just the class name used as the card's tab text. I definitely
don't need to see the class categories, and I don't think seeing the
selected method is that helpful.

Steve

Steve

Would you like to submit both of these as enhancement requests. I can't
promise that either will get done (or any other enhancement requests for
that matter), but FWIW I agree with you.

Regards

Blair
