Are any of you using win2k sp3? Recently, I've been noticing some
problems with screen updates, and it looks like it could be an off by
one bug in cleaning up after display of info tips; after they disappear,
I sometimes see stray lines on the screen. Parts of the windows API
stop at "corner-1" in handling rectangles, and improper handling of that
in one of the recent patches might explain what I am seeing. Other
explanations include: a hacked machine (no other indications); a fried
image (likewise).
Reports of experience either way would be appreciated.
