Hi gang,
I know this has been addressed before, but I couldn't find it. What kinds of installers do people use to install Dolphin executables on clients' machines? Suggestions? Any good shareware solutions out there? Jan,
I list a couple of options on http://needle.anest.ufl.edu/anest4/bills/tools.htm Personally, I'm still using Wise 5.0. D5's ToGo deployment will make things even easier, so the ClickTeam installer might be more than enough if you are looking around now. Have a good one, Bill -- Wilhelm K. Both are freeware, and InnoSetup is open source, they are also outstanding programs. I find InnoSetup to be fairly comprehensive, however if you need more advanced features there are extensions to InnoSetup that add Pascal scripting (ISX). I have used it to do some Dolphin application deployments and it works well. InnoSetup has a nice newsgroup, and an active user community that supports it. Chris |

Hi gang,
we make use of ghost installer. If you can figuraout with XML it will be the one. In our instalation we do create even ODBC conections with this, making use of the registry. best regards, Seb "Jan Theodore Galkowski" <[hidden email]> escribió en el mensaje news:[hidden email]... > Hi gang, > > I know this has been addressed before, but I couldn't find it. > What kinds of installers do people use to install Dolphin > executables on clients' machines?
