Having had some anomolies with STS that I can't pinpoint, I'm keeping an eye
on it (or at least my usage of it). However I have noticed that while
clicking on a method shows the edition stamp of it, clicking on a class in
either the system or hierarchy browser doesn't show you the edition
timestamp of the class.
Is there an easy way to get it to do this? Or how do I find out what version
of a class is loaded?
Clicking on a class and using changes, browse class editions shows me a list
of editions but no indication which one is loaded (e..g there is no * like
with the package browser).
I do wonder if for the official release, some documentation about STS and
how it does versions and what they mean would be very useful. Its quite easy
to get things muddled up, and some of the missing cues in the UI make this
just a little bit trickier. I'll get there in the end but I wonder if you
will get lots of similar questions to mine on rollout.
