Issue 3687 in pharo: Browse senders/implementors in Omnibrowser/OB pops up menu that doesn't respond to enter/CR

pharo
Status: New
Owner: ----

New issue 3687 by [hidden email]: Browse senders/implementors in
Omnibrowser/OB pops up menu that doesn't respond to enter/CR
http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=3687

Pharo image: Pharo
Pharo core version: <12327>
Class browser used (if applicable): <OBSystemBrowserAdaptor>

Steps to reproduce:
1. open OB
2. select method in right-most pane
3. type Cmd-N for senders or Cmd-M for implementors
4. try to accept default in menu by hitting enter

This is pretty bad for keyboard navigation.

In PharoInbox:

Hopefully I cut the slice correctly this time.

Did you sign the license agreement?
OB maintainers can you integrate this fix?

I assume you meant slice, and this is what happened before with 3659.
Somehow, the slice works for me.  I am following the instructions to the
letter (at least I think I am), and this is still not doing what we
expect.  How should I address this?

Accessing the serial interface with Pharo on Windows/Linux?

FDominicus
Just wondering if there is some Smalltalk way to access the serial
interface.

A little bit extended. Can one use COM and Pharo on Windows?

Regards
Friedrich

The serial port should be working (there is a fix for named ports) I do not remember whether we should or we already integrated it.

All is here: http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=1057
The same code is integrated in Squeak 4.2.
The integration in 1.2 (or 1.3) is still pending.
Should i ask David and Séverin to explicitely sign the Pharo licence agreement ?

Regards,

woudl be good but the problem was not there.
it was not marked as fixed so we did not see it.

I comited this as OB-Morphic-MarcusDenker.154 and edited the Config.
(but just as a tiny hack on to of the old branch... we should merge with
Lukas...)
