Comment #1 on issue 4947 by [hidden email]: Imported Script Manager scripts disappear http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=4947 What the heck is "Script Manager"? The fact that 1.3 Full loads a lot of packages that we don't actually use is very bad. I never used Script Manager, I do not know hat it does. How can I support a release that contains it? _______________________________________________ Pharo-bugtracker mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-bugtracker |

Cc: [hidden email] Comment #4 on issue 4947 by marianopeck: Imported Script Manager scripts disappear http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=4947 I like the ScriptManager, so I copy Torsten which may be able to fix it. Even if he fix it and we don't include it in Pharo 1.3 (since it is finished), I would really like to have it working because it is nice :) _______________________________________________ Pharo-bugtracker mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-bugtracker |
Comment #5 on issue 4947 by [hidden email]: Imported Script Manager scripts disappear http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=4947 The Script Manager is a way to organize and save workspaces. I find it useful and the functionality is not currently provided by any other tool as far as I know. _______________________________________________ Pharo-bugtracker mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-bugtracker |

Comment #10 on issue 4947 by [hidden email]: Imported Script Manager scripts disappear http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=4947 No intgration in 1.3 or 1.4? _______________________________________________ Pharo-bugtracker mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-bugtracker |
Comment #11 on issue 4947 by [hidden email]: Imported Script Manager scripts disappear http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=4947 Why is scriptmanager part of 1.3 core? No so the fix should be integrated in ScriptManager and its configuration should reflect this change and when we will build 1.4 normally the right version of scriptManager should be loaded. I think that we are all thinking in monolithic terms. _______________________________________________ Pharo-bugtracker mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-bugtracker |
Comment #12 on issue 4947 by [hidden email]: Imported Script Manager scripts disappear http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=4947 I agree that the fix should be ScriptManager's responsibility, but will 1.3 continue to ship with a broken version? _______________________________________________ Pharo-bugtracker mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-bugtracker |
Comment #13 on issue 4947 by [hidden email]: Imported Script Manager scripts disappear http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=4947 probably because this is not a showstopper and if we retrofit all the bugs from 1.4 and external packages then better stop trying to do 1.4, 1.5, 1.6. Now the first things to do is that the fix is integrated in the configuration and make sure that pharo 1.3 build script load it. Then may be the Jenkins server will build a good one. _______________________________________________ Pharo-bugtracker mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-bugtracker |
