a part-solution to this problem is present in the inbox:
SLICE-Issue-5696--Failing-tests-Traits-CamilloBruni.2

- traits did not emit proper events (without compiled methods)
- events were not properly handled by rpackage
- isUsedByTrait did not work when the method was already removed from the  
methodDict


however there are still 3-5 tests failing depending on the setup of  
TraitsResources:
=> the main issue is that methods are not properly categorized

When I try to merge this I get:

This package depends on the following classes:
   AnObsoleteT1
   AnObsoleteT2
You must resolve these dependencies before you will be able to load these  
definitions:

There is a problem with RPackage and obsolete classes/traits.  Since  
RPackage relies on behavior names, and they change when a class turns  
obsolete, RPackage gets in a stupid state...

the only bug left is that trait methods somehow don't get properly  
categorized (that is 3 tests failing)
