Latest update: #14439

1. Select an expression in the Nautilus code pane
2. Press Shift+Cmd+I

On the Mac, Shift+Cmd+I had been "exploreIt", but in Nautilus, it brings up  
a class search dialog, so one has to bring up an inspector and then explore  
that.

Indeed, you are right, it is annoying, I want my "explore it" back! ;) But  
I don't remember seeing this a while ago..so maybe it is new.

yes, when I put the shortcut I forgot about explore it.

I will fix that :)
