Type Don''t into the Workspace (that's two single quotes, not a double  
quote!)

Click between the quotes to put the cursor between the quotes. Hit  
backspace to delete quote. The n is deleted as well! So you get:

Do't

This also happens with double quotes:

Don""t -> Do"t
