Goord morning mailing list,
my last main beginner issue is the loading of an image with a size > 100 Mo under Windows XP, generating the error :
"Error: Can't initialize OldSpace
Unable to read the image file. File may be truncated.
Cancel to debug.
"
followed by :
"
Fatal error.
Insufficient memory to allocate heap.
Cancel to debug.
"
Using the button Cancel produce then a failure of visual.exe.
I have understood it is a problem of allocating continuous block of free space when loading VisualWorks, thus my question is :
What is the common process to have an image with a size > 100 Mo loaded under Windows XP ?
Best regards,
Frederic
