JWARS is the featured article in Phalanx, which is the publication of the
Military Operations Research Society. You can see the article here:

JWARS recently duplicated the results of an earlier study done using a group
of models. JWARS actually produced better results than the other study, but
since we were required to duplicate the other study's results, we had to
turn down the fidelity knobs a good bit.
JWARS is currently replicating another study by the same group, and this
time we have a chance to show what we can do.
