Jump to any class from a hierarchy browser

Carl Gundel-2
How can I open another hierarchy browser on an arbitrary case from a hierarchy browser.  It is very inconvenient to need to find the application manager window every time I want to open new hierarchy browser.

Thanks,

-Carl

Highlight the text of the desired class name and right click should do the trick.

Richard,

Thanks of course that works, and I've been doing that all along.  It doesn't do the trick when the class I want to browse is not referenced in the browser I am currently looking at.

One way or another, you will need to type the class name. Whether it's in a prompt or whether it's in the existing browser's text pane doesn't really make a difference.

Sure it does. Workflow is harmed by needing to type a class name into a code editor.
1) I need to type the entire class name. I don't have to do that from the application manager window.
2) Then I have to undo what I typed in the window I am currently viewing or else open a workspace, type the class, open the hierarchy browser.
If instead I decide to bring forward the application manager window, this introduces it into the Alt+Tab cycle when I don't want it to be there.
I guess I need to modify the tools. Not a huge deal, but it shouldn't necessary. Opening a hierarchy browser is done so frequently that it should be possible from any of the tool windows.

In a related way, it should be possible to be looking at any particular class in a browser and press a hotkey and jump in that window to any other class regardless of what application it is contained in.  VAST doesn't seem to be able to do that either.
Thanks again.
