Logos for PolyMath 1.0

SergeStinckwich
Dear all,

we almost ready for a PM 1.0 release. Only two issues left:

One of the issue is to have a logo for PolyMath.
I ask a designer to do some propositions. I attach to this message the logos she has done from polymath-v1.jpg to polymath-v2.jpg.

As the discussion between the designer and me progressed, the proposals were refined. I think that the best ones are in v4 and v5.

The story telling of the v5 logo is : Plato solids combined as a kind of Fresnel lens with the lamp inside (like the lamp at a top of a lighthouse). The square brackets around Polymath name (to remind Pharo/Smalltalk).

Can you give you feedback about the propositions ? which one you prefer (give the file version and the number) ?

After the discussion, I will setup a vote system.

Regards,

Dear Serge,
I prefer v4 and am torn between nos 5 and 6. If I were pressed, I'd lean towards 6.

Yours sincerely,
Hemal

Serge
Sorry I wasn't clear - I like v4, image number 6 (the one with the pencil-like scribble).
