Hi!

A couple of years ago I was also using seminal papers to motivate my students. However, I have removed most of references to legacy material since then. I instead stress on the fact that Smalltalk is an excellent represent to an emerging range of new programming languages.

Humm... Thinking about it, I am not even sure I use the word "Smalltalk" that much. I use VisualWorks, Pharo and Amber in my lecture, and I simply say these languages have their principles rooted in Smalltalk.
