MAC OSX

Paul Caplat
Hi all,
I got a new PowerMac, and I tried to install the last VW on it...it
does not work ! When I launch the MacOsX install command, it seems to
do something then I got an error message "visualworksguiapp has shut
down"...then I tried to run an old VW version (just a drag and drop
install) and it does not work neither !!
Please help me !!!

Paul

Re: MAC OSX

We don't have a native intel VM for OS X yet.  It should be available
for NC before the winter release.

Re: MAC OSX

James,

Will this be only an X11 VM, or for Aqua also?

You can use the X11 VM.  The one on the CD has issues, so grab the
one listed here:

http://www.cincomsmalltalk.com/CincomSmalltalkWiki/VisualWorks+7.4c+engines

scroll down, and grab the one marked X11 X86 for Mac OSX.  You'll
also need to install X11 on your Mac (which should be on the OS X CD).
