I'm posting this to both NC and dev, since I've had it happen in the current release, and in the latest dev build
1) Start VW on a Mac (I'm running 10.9.2 here)
2) Open a browser
3) Find>>Strings Matching
4) Type anything, like halt
This GCs for awhile, and eventually raises the out of memory error. Same image on Windows comes back nearly immediately. A base 7.7.1 image on Mac comes back immediately as well.
