Magma

Torsten Bergmann
FYI: Chris Muller plans to update Magma for Pharo 1.2

http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/pipermail/magma/2011-April/001756.html

We now get more package maintainers to see value in supporting Pharo
and I think this is a good thing

Bye

Re: Magma

Stéphane Ducasse
Thanks for this good news.
We need more solid and alternative solutions for storing data so that people can take what fits better
their needs.
And again we want to create a complete ecosystem for smalltalk software and projects....
the more the better.

If you read that entire message, you'll see that he doesn't intend to
support Pharo beyond 1.2 without either A) compensation or B)
developers from Pharo to do the support.

Ok then no magma after 1.2 if people do not help.
This is also ok for me. I do not use magma. May be there is a bigger market in Squeak.
Who knows.
