Hello,
Which latest combination of Seaside/Magma/MagmaSeaside is known to work? When I try to load the latest MagmaSeaside from MC I get an error about missing WADispatcherEditor. I think Keith is the one which can answer this. But you can use Keith's SMP image. You can get it from www.squeak.org. Unofrtunately I have not had the time to track the latest Seaside releases: I used 2.6b. See http://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/5817 If it is really important to you to use the latest 2.7 branch (if that is the latest branch), then hound me this weekend. Feel free to ask questions. Could someone be kind enough to include it into 2.8 as well. Could someone please remove the package in Seaside2.7a version 1136! Hello, I'm starting with Magma and Seaside as well.
I've been trying to make it work, but spend several hours without success. Tried several combinations of versions, and allwasy get some error. Anyone has a preloaded image to share or can describe which package's versions and order should I load to get the Store example working? Thank you very much. Tomas. There isn't anything special required to make Magma and Seaside
"work", just load Magma into whatever Seaside image and you should be good to go. However, the Sushi-store demo does require relative-path fixes from Keith Hodges. He sent them to me and I have integrated them into the working copy but have not yet had time to finish the other pieces of this release and posted to SqueakMap. Its getting close though.. In the meantime, you might be able to hard-code a fully-qualified path to the Sushi-store database if you wish..? - Chris On 5/27/07, Tomas Carini <[hidden email]> wrote: > Hello, I'm starting with Magma and Seaside as well. > I've been trying to make it work, but spend several hours without success. > Tried several combinations of versions, and allwasy get some error. > Anyone has a preloaded image to share or can describe which package's > versions and order should I load to get the Store example working? > Thank you very much. > > Tomas. > > > On 5/3/07, Keith Hodges <[hidden email]> wrote: > > Norbert Hartl wrote: > > > On Thu, 2007-05-03 at 12:28 +0200, Petr wrote: > > > > > >> Hello, > > >> Which latest combination of Seaside/Magma/MagmaSeaside is known to work? > > >> When I try to load the latest MagmaSeaside from MC I get an error about > > >> missing WADispatcherEditor. > > >> > > > > I checked the repositories WADispatcherEditorPlugin is in Seaside 2.6b1 > > and 2.7a. > > > > Could someone be kind enough to include it into 2.8 as well. > > > > Could someone please remove the package in Seaside2.7a version 1136! > > > > Keith > > _______________________________________________ > > Seaside mailing list > > [hidden email] > > http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/seaside > > > _______________________________________________ > Seaside mailing list > [hidden email] > http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/seaside > Seaside mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/seaside |
