The whole purpose of moving out from plugins (when possible) is to make easier to maintain the frameworks we use. The SqueakSSL plugin does not work properly and it didn't work for some years now. Fixing it has been proven hard when not impossible due our lack of resources in VM side.

Still, we want to be able to enhance/fix it from the image, and that's why we proposed the replacement that you reported you couldn't use it and so far we couldn't reproduce the problem.

That's why I asked for your feedback.
