Herby Vojčík revised a previous entry on Case 21382: https leaks memory in Ubuntu 64bit / Pharo 6.1 64bit:
Bug in Project:  Zinc: 1. Pharo Image  •  You are subscribed to this case
Afaict:

1. It is not "just buffers". I ran it for hours (in a project I work on and is being deployed to stage) and it rises beyond limits.

2. I used #beOneShot (thus, implied #close). It did not prevent the leaking. Wanted the example be short, so not included it there. IOW, I did a decent amount of trying different solutions / looking for root cause, th
u i s issue is the result of those.

3. As I mentioned in original post, http is not leaking at all (so it seems https handling is where leak is).

4. I included "Smalltalk garbageCollect" only to actually show the leak is there. It is not "how I use ZnClient", IOW, it is not there in the product code itself. I also do not use #beOneShot there to reuse connection as http1.1 finds useful.
Priority Priority: 3 – Must Fix Status Status: Work Needed
Assigned To Assigned to: Everyone Milestone Milestone: Later
