Other suggested alternative was #beBetween:and:
which goes nicely with #between:and:
(x beBetween: y and: z) between: y and: z ==> always true
(Personally I find the electronics analogy unnecessary, and arguably most programmers are not familiar with electronics at all, but mileage might vary. :))
