Medium is a Jackass

What have you fools done??? All the side notes that I’ve written and made public are now Private Notes; they’re invisible to all my readers! I see no way to make them Public again. Must I move ALL of my previously public notes into the body of my articles as endnotes? That’s a whole shitload of unnecessary work just because you either decided to change a fundamental aspect (notes) of how Medium works, or you broke something in your massive overhaul. I don’t know what I should do now. Please advise!

By removing the 'notes' feature from Medium, they've pulled the rug from underneath all my published Smalltalk articles. I used notes heavily to annotate my articles, and if Medium does not restore this feature, I'll have to overhaul all my articles. F*ck. What the hell are they doing??? This is completely irresponsible.

something like https://hypothes.is might be just what you need to insulate yourself from such decisions, plus it works over any number of sites, including pdfs.
