Thanks for the reference. Of course adding three more people can't hurt,
but the real need appears to be for two or three (or more) times the
current staffing (still not a Mongolian Hoard).
A confession: I worked for many years in a large, well managed software lab
where a thousand people were productively used to produce new and enhanced
software on a rigid schedule according to a well-defined process. This is
a different development model and perhaps not adapted to a star programmer
environment, but I can't help but wonder if some of it wouldn't be useful.
