Hello all,
Any preferences for moving code between dialects? I have a copy of SIF in case anyone wants it. Bill _______________________________________________ Pharo-project mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-project |

Monticello. It is natively supported on Squeak, Pharo, GemStone and VisualWorks. Lukas -- Lukas Renggli http://www.lukas-renggli.ch _______________________________________________ Pharo-project mailing list [hidden email] http://lists.gforge.inria.fr/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pharo-project |
Interesting, but that does not (so far) appear to help with code coming from Dolphin.

PackageInfo-Exporters in the Seaside repository has exporters for about any dialect, including VAST and Dolphin. Hi!

IIRC I used Rosetta (by Joseph Pelrine) a few years back to move code from Dolphin to Squeak. Unless I am missing something, it's not a solution: I need to export _from_ Dolphin, not to it.

So there *are* tools to help with these imports? What about helping
flag invocations of initialize and more subtle differences in base classes? -Cam On Jun 25, 2009, at 2:50 PM, Göran Krampe wrote: > IIRC I used Rosetta (by Joseph Pelrine) a few years back to move code > from Dolphin to Squeak. Cam,
The tools exist, but some/most are orphaned at this point, or at least give that appearance.
