New Cuis updates + new Profiler

Juan Vuletich-4
Hi Folks,

I just commited some updates to GitHub, addressing the issues we've been
talking about lately. Please check it, and comment about it.

I also did a commit of the cool new profiler from Qwaq (by Andreas
Raab), that I ported to Cuis. It is more accurate than MessageTally,
especially when there are long primitive calls. It is at
https://github.com/jvuletich/Cuis-Qwaq-Benchmarks . Please note that the
license for this code is not MIT. You can use freely, but it is
advisable to distribute it separately and not as part of a Cuis image.

Cheers,
Juan Vuletich

I found and interesting combination!

If I load the new profiler in an image with the WebClientTests, all seems to work fine until I try to Run the Webclient as profiled and then crahs the vm!! (crash.dmp attached).

I will look with more detail in an other machines later, but wanted to comment just in case someone found similar behavior.

Cheers.

Hi Germán,

I recommend trying with various VMs in various platforms, and ask for
help in the VM-Dev mail list. Eliot is usually very nice and helpful. Be
sure to specify precise steps to reproduce the problem. Prepare an image
for him to download, and very short instructions to reproduce the problem.

Cheers,
Juan Vuletich

Re: New Cuis updates + new Profiler

Hannes Hirzel
Hello  Germán,

I can help you running tests on Windows 7, if you like.

I assume

I would just need the instructions what you did to load and run the profiler.
