News from Totally Objects - new Freeware

As of now both our Registry and TOScript products are available for free download and have zero licence fees. Both of these products have been successful offerings over the years and provide useful facilities.

Registry is specific to the Windows platforms and provides a Smalltalk Dictionary interface to the Windows Registry making the facilities of that feature of Windows freely available to VAST developers.

TOScript is a Smalltalk Interpreter which enables the developer to import text files containing Smalltalk code and to have that code executed within a running executable.

Both products can be downloaded and used without charge. There are still small limitations on use - mainly to protect the Totally Objects copyright so, for instance, you cannot include any of the code within products offered to other developers as source code. Please check the licences before using if you think this might be an issue.

Both products come "as is" and without support. However, as they have been in use for quite a few years, they have proved their reliability. You can, if you wish, purchase support for either product and the costs for that service are clearly stated on the appropriate web pages.
