Not quite right documentation

SeanTAllen
The GS64 Sys Admin Guide v 2.3 in the section:

6.6 How to Shrink the Repository

Is missing a couple potentially important points related to
permissions on the /opt/gemstone/product/bin/extent.dbf and also is
missing a couple topaz logins that are required.
Where would be the best place to send a write up of the minor issues
with the docs ( in only took me 10 minutes to figure it all out ).

Hi Sean,

You can send any corrections to (or complaints about) GemStone product
documentation to me.

There is a later version of the SAG, for v2.4, if you want to check
first to see if any of your issues have already been noticed:
http://www.gemstone.com/docs/GemStoneS/GemStone64Bit/2.4/GS64-SysAdminGuide-2.4.pdf

Regards
Lisa Almarode

Re: Not quite right documentation

That section is the same in both.

Will write up and send in the next day or so.

Is there a programming guide or topaz guide for 2.4?
I have 2.2 and 2.3 versions respectively.

I don't have any complaints yet as the gemstone documentation is some
of the best
technical docs I have had the pleasure of reading.

Re: Not quite right documentation

Yes, both the Topaz and GPG were updated for v2.4.  The almost-latest
full doc set is here:
   http://www.gemstone.com/docs/GemStoneS/GemStone64Bit/2.4.1/

v2.4.2 is released but not yet on this site (apologies).  The only
difference is v2.4.2 release notes; if you need these, they are
available here:
