OSTimeZone - still of use in 7.8

Joerg Beekmann, DeepCove Labs (YVR)

I’m porting an application from VW7.5 to 7.8. It makes use of OSTimeZone. There was chatter of incorporating the function of that parcel into the base image. Has that happened or is that parcel still relevant to VW7.8?

The need for OSTimeZone was removed around 7.7.1. Searching docs\index.pdx for timezone shows that 7.7 was the main change, and 7.7.1 extended it to work for years outside of the range natively supported by the OS.
