Google now hosts AJAX libraries on it's infrastructure (including script.aculo.us and prototype)
It provides "hosting the libraries, correctly setting cache headers, staying up to date with the most recent bug fixes, ...". See

Nice news. Your app can take advantage of cached library if same version is
already cached for other app.
