Hi,
I would like to mention the XULJet Framework [1] here. It is a
JavaScript framework for development of desktop applications on
Mozilla XULRunner run-time. It uses component model and XUL/HTML/SVG
canvas similar to Seaside. Of course it is not Smalltalk and because
of JavaScript limitations the similarity to Seaside is only
approximate.
However mainly together with CouchDB it may be interesting alternative
platform for some applications. It was started as side-product of
SeasideXUL development.
Cheers,
-- Pavel
