Opening Browsers on the Monitor where Launcher is open ??

Hello All,

I have a question about the Window placement in VW7.7:
I do have system with multiple monitors attached.

When I start VW the launcher opens on the Monitor #2, but then if I try
to browse System or implementers, etc.  It will open browser on the
other screen ( #1).

Is there any patch or internal setting to tell browsers to open on the
same screen as the  Launcher ?

I vaguely recall we had and fixed similar issue in the older version of
VW ...


Any information is greatly appreciated,

I'm pretty sure that was fixed in either 7.7.1 or 7.8, though a quick scan of the AR list didn't find it.

Hello Mark,

 

Did you somehow get an answer to this question?

I’m having the same problem here - sometimes the new screens open up on the screen where the VisualLauncher is, sometimes they open on the other screen.

And the most annoying part of this issue is that if they open on the other screen, the top of the window (with the close/expand/… buttons) often is hidden behind my Windows task bar.

I’m running vw 7.7 on Windows 7.
