Personal amber spaces

Jerome Baum
Hey all,

I've setup http://www.herospaces.com where you can get a personal amber space to play with. It's very lame at the moment and committing doesn't even work. But it's a start. I'll keep working on this and improving it. This could be a fun project if you want to join in.

For now here's a work-around that gets your commit feature working:

1. Setup an "amber" space e.g. http://www.herospaces.com/spaces/time-1365836042698/index.html

2. Go to http://www.herospaces.com/templates/minimal-trunk

3. Create a "js" and "st" subdirectory in your space: Enter "/spaces/time-1365836042698/js" into Path and click MkDir. Repeat for "/spaces/time-1365836042698/st".

This will allows you to commit changes and they should stick after a reload. If you create a new package remember to change the index.html or else the packages won't be loaded when you refresh.

Very excited to hear your thoughts. I'm hoping to add more client-side environments as time permits so any suggestions are welcome.

All the best,

Jerome

Just an update. The commit bug is now fixed. When you setup a space you should immediately be able to commit and see your changes on reload.
