Dears, Phratch has now a portable version: https://ci.inria.fr/pharo-contribution/view/Phratch/job/Phratch-OneClick/
Thanks to JB Arnaud, the Jenkins is configured to take the latest one-click Pharo for each platform and install all the necessary (Plugins, png…). Now, no need to install anything: just download the zip file for your platform, unzip it and run Phratch.
Enjoy ! ~~Jannik Laval~~ |

URL of the Jenkins: Then Phratch2.0 For Linux: Phratch2.0 For Windows: Phratch2.0 For MacOS: Cheers, 2014-03-03 20:41 GMT+01:00 Hilaire Fernandes <[hidden email]>: Great! ~~Jannik Laval~~ |
Are you using it on a Mac ? On Windows and Linux it is really faster. I am thinking that it comes from the Mac VM. I want to discuss that next Friday during the Pharo Sprint.

Thank you for the report Hilaire. I think now that we need some profiling. Any expert for that ? Jannik

Hi Hilaire, Hum, probably this comes from there... Could you explain a bit more how to change it ? Cheers, Jannik 2014-03-05 11:19 GMT+01:00 Hilaire Fernandes <[hidden email]>: For event, how is it developed? ~~Jannik Laval~~ |
Hi Hilaire,
2014-03-11 17:27 GMT+01:00 Hilaire Fernandes <[hidden email]>: Hi Jannik, Yes, this is what I understand :) In DrGeo I use a simple loop to update the sketch, but i guess it is I don't know why, probably due to the evolution of Pharo. But, with JB we found some code that we changed: now it is really faster. It is integrated in Phratch2.0.
We also saw a lot of other things to improve, it will come soon. Cheers, Jannik
