Done. Please report back with your findings :)

Re: Please add my iPad UDID to the testing profile

Thanks!

Is there a suggested iOS and XCode and iPad version that I should use?

I haven't done much with XCode or iOS for a while -- until recently.

The latest XCode (4.3) is totally different and I am just feeling my way around -- trying to get back in the groove.

No luck with etoys anything so far...

Downloaded app won't install.

Compiled source won't run in simulator or on iPads.

I was using the latest beta XCode and iOS releases (prior to yesterday).

Now am installing yesterday's beta 2 update.

After the dust clears, I will try again and let you know!

Interesting. Did you try tapping those two install links on your iPad?

        http://etoys.squeak.org/experimental/ipad/

So far we've only had installation issues with the iTunes method, not when installed directly on the iPad over Wifi.

I have not tried it on iOS 5 yet - anybody else?

Yes, I have trouble compiling a working version myself. A lot has changed in XCode.

Ah.....

I accessed the links from Safari on my Mac, not on my iPad.  The provisioning profile is just displayed as source...

I downloaded both files and installed through iTunes...  No good!

Once I installed directly on the iPad, it is up and running on my iPad 2 with the latest beta -- 5.1 (9B5127c).

I'll play around later today, and report back!

Thanks

Dick

Great!

I removed the iTunes instructions now. Too confusing.
