Preserving emphasis with Max OS X Look

Hi,

I’m using emphasised Text in dialogs, and colour on widget texts, which works fine for all but the Mac OSX and Default looks. (on a Windows machine running XP).

I’ve probed around in the internals of the Text scanner etc, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how this is implemented.

I suspect it is something to do with the Fonts.

Can anyone please enlighten me, so that I can preserve my “application look” across platforms.
