Professional.img

Christoph J. Bachinger
Hello there,

I loose my geometry editor in the blue start window: Professional.img,
how can I get it back there?
Don't ask me, how this could happen,
I've no idea.

I can start the geometry editor,
with: "CcGeometryEditor show." from the workspace,
but how could I get it back in the start window?

Thank you for your help,

Katjana

I'm not familiar with the 3D tools you are using, so please make a backup
(see the Wiki) of your changes, image, and sources to protect your work.
With that said, it might be as simple as not closing the editor after
opening it from a workspace (or maybe there is a Tools menu item for it).
Then after you save your image, it would reload with the editor open.

Have a good one,

Bill

Katjana,

I've never seen this.  The Geometry Editor icon gets added to the ST3D
folder when ST3D packages are installed.

The most obvious solutions would be to backup your work, both as a backup
image and packages, start with a clean image, reinstall ST3D and then
reinstall your own packages.

I read "blue start window" to mean the the splash screen, and assumed the
problem was something to do with the editor window not being open on
startup.  But it could be that the wrong level is displayed in the system
folder, and Katjana is not seeing the icon as a result.  I guess the
test/fix would be to navigate up until the option is grayed, and then down
into "additional tools" (or the appropriate folder).

Have a good one,

Bill

Dear Chris and Bill!

Thank you for help,
but I think,
I can live without the geo*.ico!

I think,
to kill the icon was a phenomenon! :)

Katjana
