I don't think he said that at all, you misread, he said the next version
would use Pragma's that'll be compatible with VW, that doesn't mean the
current Magritte doesn't work in VW.

He told me privately (I sent him a note off-list) that he once had tried
it but had run into issues with
incompatibilities with #initialize, streams and a few other things.. If
you know otherwise (and have
tried it yourself) do tell..
