Is there a known implementation of BPM/Workflow in Smalltalk including:
The modeler, the process engine, the BRE, monitoring tools..

Hi Sudhakar,
we develop and distribute a complete BPM-/Workflowsystem, called OfficeTalk . OfficeTalk is written in Smalltalk with VisualWorks from Cincom. It includes all aspects of Busines-Process-Management and a Workflow engine. The Workflowengine supports different generic built-in interfaces to integrate extern systems (SAP, Siebel, etc.) into a workflowprocess like COM, .NET and Webservices. For first informations go to http://www.joops.com/JProdOffi.htm. If you want further informations, send me an mail. Josef Springer (Geschäftsleitung/Management)

Hi Krishnamachari,
We are developing a framework and web portal called BiArt/BPM, which includes among others the BPM engine executing business processes modeled in standard graphical notation BPMN. For modeling we are using Visio add-on from itp-commerce called Process Modeler for Visio. So far there was not a need for a rules engine, for rules on the gateways we simply use extended Smalltalk syntax. BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) is so far basic, just seeing processes in execution and changing the flow of execution. For BAM see 3rd screenshot at http://www.aidaweb.si/screenshots.html .
