Okay Dale, that worked.

I had:

SET GEMSTONE devKit_343
set user SystemUser
#set user DataCurator
set password swordfish
# uncomment the following....
set gemnetid ....

This worked and then it didn't (it seems).

From what you say we are chocking on the '#' with no space set part of the file.

At any rate, fixed.

script used to extract user name wasn't clever enough:)
