we now stopped to build zips with the mac so these files are not there.

Deleting is not the correct thing, on machines like unix and win they  
should be extracted,
on the mac the extended attributes should in a perfect implementation  
restore the attributes and
not extract the directory. As long as we do not restore the resource forks,  
the files should be extracted
like on windows and linux.
