The way to get this stuff started is to first make sure you can automatically provision whole
boxes. There is some work done for this for a gemstone-seaside box: there are chef scripts,
mostly by Willem and Norbert

I'm not sure at what market heroku and appfog are aiming. They don't seem to have the right incentives
to perform well, as they make more money if you need more instances. Might be perfect for hosting marketing
campaigns or so, but definitely not for freemium based business models. DevOps on Hetzner servers might
be a lot cheaper.
