Good idea? If so should Smalltalk integrate these? Why? Why not ?

Traits we first coined in Self. Back in 2003 compiled method could be shared among classes. That is the key that enabled the idea of traits.

Nested classes are indeed nice. I programmed a bit in NewSpeak, and you need a different mindset and good programming environment support.
